Jean "Keith" Gary, born Aug. 24, 1955, in Kinder and a resident of Belle River, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2009, at his home surrounded by his loving family, after battling cancer, at age 53.
Keith was employed by Scully's Metal Fabrication.
Keith is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Sharon Gary, of Belle River; two wonderful children, a son, Stuart Gary, of Belle River, and a daughter, Kay Gary Turner and her husband, Wayne, of Pierre Part; three beautiful grandchildren, Ashlyn, Keely and Reece Turner, all of Pierre Part; four brothers, Clebert, Larry, David and Russell Gary; and three sisters, Diana Breaux, Janice Hayes and Barbara Michelle.
Keith was preceded in death by his father, Abbie Joseph Gary; his mother, Thelma Thibodaux Gary; and a sister, Abbie Gail Suire.
A time of remembrance and reflection will be observed at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part on Sunday, June 7, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will continue at Pierre Part Christian Church on Monday, June 8, from 8 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., Gerald Daigle, pastor, officiating.
Keith will be laid to rest in The Sacred Heart Cemetery in Belle River. .
