Ralph W. "Uncle Bud" Rogers, Sr., 76, a resident of Lake Hamilton [FL], died Saturday night at the Heart of Florida Hospital in Haines City. A native of White Plains, Ga, he made his home in Lake Hamilton since 1938, having moved here from Bradenton. He was Haines City Area district supervisor for the USDA Fruit and Vegetable Inspecton Division. He was a member of the Lake Hamilton Community Presbyterian Church, the Mason, Scottish Rite and Shrine. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Mina Rogers of Lake Hamilton, two sons, Herbert T. Rogers of Tampa and Ralph W. "Buddy" Rogers of Lake Hamilton; a daughter, Mrs. Florence Kennedy of Tampa; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Bond and Mrs. Effie Rhodes, both of Aragon, Ga; and Mrs Lilla Ellis of Bartow, a brother Lamar Rogers of Atlanta, and nine grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted at the Manasota Burial Park, Oneco, south of Bradenton at 3 p.m. Wednesday, by Bradenton Lodge No. 99.
