Mr. Carroll L. Price, age 85, of Winter Haven passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2010 due to heart failure.
He was born in Eggleston, VA on June 27, 1924 and moved to Winter Haven in 1982 from Homestead. He was a Carpenter, a member of Winter Haven Baptist Church, the DAV and the Carpenter's Local Union # 72. He was a US Army veteran serving during WWII where he received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
Mr. Price was preceded in death by his wife Sylvia Price in 2004. He is survived by his daughters Elizabeth Myers, Sioux Falls, SD and Priscilla Thompson, Homestead, FL, grandchildren Rebecca, Christopher and Steven and six great grandchildren.
