Obituary:
Jackie Du Jardin Clemenson died at the age of 85 years on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the Franklin United Methodist Community in Franklin, Indiana.

Born in 1927 in Chicago, Illinois, Jackie enjoyed a happy childhood with her younger siblings, Vic, who preceded her in death in 1992, and Judy, who lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Jackie gave generously of herself in all her endeavors. She married Bill Clemenson in 1950 and lovingly supported his pastorships at Presbyterian churches in Pierceton, Hanover, Bloomington, and Greensburg, Indiana. Together they raised their four children through various activities, college degrees, and career and family development. Jackie also loved gardening, church mission work, and playing bridge and Scrabble with her husband and friends. In their retirement, Jackie worked tirelessly at the First Presbyterian Church in Franklin, serving as elder and on various committees and missions in keeping with her own values regarding the right of every individual to be treated with dignity and respect.

Jackie was preceded in death by her son Mark (1994) and daughter Karen (2007). She is survived by her husband Bill, son Neal (Edmond, Oklahoma), daughter Janet (Pearland, Texas), seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, all of whom brought great joy to her life.

Reverend Peter Jessen will conduct a memorial service at 2 P.M. on Monday, July 1, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church of Franklin, 100 E. Madison Street, Franklin, Indiana . Memorial gifts to the First Presbyterian Church of Franklin will be distributed to two of Jackie's most beloved missions, the Inter-Church Food Pantry and Camp Pyoca.
