She was born Aug. 15, 1924, in Havelock, Iowa, to Lester and Gladys Bates Allen. She married the late Walter Brockrogge in 1941. She married Maurice Alexander June 7, 1946, in Silvis.
Survivors include her husband; daughters and a son-in-law, Sharon and Dan Long, Muskegon, Mich., and Janette Arkland, Geneseo; a son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Sue Alexander, Geneseo; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Donald Sledgister, Hennepin, Ill.
