Born May 30, 1927 in Doubs, Md., she was the daughter of the late Vernon Sylvester and Oda (Manzella) Baker. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry "Babe" Krantz and by eighteen siblings.
She was a member of the Frederick Church of the Brethren.
She had worked for Air Pax manufacturing, Chi Chi's and Golden Corral, all in Frederick.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel Wayne Blevins, Jr.; three children, Patricia Langowski and husband Dave, Steven Deets Beall and wife Patti and Mark Krantz and wife Terry, all of Frederick; one step son, Harry Thomas Philip Krantz and wife Shirley of Middletown; one brother,Benjamin H. Baker and wife Mary of Winchester, Va.; five grandchildren, Susan, Laura, Christopher, Sara and and Amanda; nine great grandchildren, Jessica, Cheyenne, Cara, Hunter, Marissa, Thomas, Braeden and twins Easton and Sophia; two step grandchildren, Lisa and Danielle; two step great grandchildren, Alexandra and Philip and by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Pauline affectionately known as Nanny, was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
At her request there will no viewing or visitation.
A celebration of life service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Hagerstown is in charge of the arrangements.
