In 1900, He was living with his parents and sister at 38 Garfield Street in Fall River, Bristol County, Massachusetts.

In 1910, he was living at 995 High Street in Fall River with his parents, sister and brother. He was working as an office boy in the printing works.


In 1920, Walter was living with his wife Helen and daughter Frances at 45 Dartmouth Avenue in Providence, Rhode Island. He was working as a chauffeur.


In 1925, He was living at 24 Poplar Street in Providence with his wife, daughter and son.

In 1940, Walter is living with his wife Helen and both of his children at 124 Wentworth Avenue in Providence. He is working as a Sewer Inspector for the City Sewer Department and Helen in a Paper Store as a Stationary Sales Person.

Was Truck Co-Ordinator For City Traffic Unit


Walter F. Kendall, truck co-ordinator for the city Traffic Engineering Department, died yesterday at his home in Northwood Apartments, 4222 Loch Raven boulevard. He was 61.
Mr. Kendall, a top aide of Henry A. Barnes, city traffic engineer, set up the new truck routes through the city and had charge of all the traffic problems connected with commercial vehicles.
He came to Baltimore three years ago at the invitation of Mr. Barnes who considered him to be one of the best qualified truck men in the country.
13 Years In ICC
Mr. Kendall spent thirteen years with the Interstate Commerce Commission as safety director in California and Colorado. Earlier, he spent several years as an investigator for the Rhode Island Motor Vehicle Department.
Mr. Barnes, who knew Mr. Kendall while both were in Denver, said he was once a test driver for the Packard Motor Company in Detroit.
A native of Fall River, Mass., Mr. Kendall also lectured on transportation problems at several universities.
He is survived by a son, Raymond, of Redlands, Cal.; a daughter, Mrs. Frances Thompson of San Francisco; his parents, Mr and Mrs. Frederick J. Kendall, of Norristown, PA; and a brother Harold, of Oakland. Cal. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
