Mrs. Georgia V. Kinney, 46, of Conesville route 1, died in city hospital at 10 p.m. Friday following a major operation which she underwent last Tuesday. She had been in failing health for the last four months. Mrs. Kinney was born in Muskingum county April 13, 1888, the daughter of J. W. and Mary Ann Newell. On Oct. 12, 1908, she married Clement Kinney. Ten children were born to them, three of whom are deceased. Surviving are the husband and the following children: Mrs. Opal Sharon, Clement, Roy Wilson, Pauline, Calvin and Olean Kinney, all of the Conesville vicinity. Three brothers also survive, Conrad, Paul and Percy Newell, all of near Ellis Station in Muskingum county; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Hoy of Newark and Mrs. Dan Helsel of Ellis Station, and three grandchildren. For the last 18 years Mrs. Kinney had lived in the vicinity of Conesville. She was a member of the Plains church. The body will be taken from the home at noon Monday for funeral services which will be held at 2 p.m. at the Salem church in Muskingum county, in charge of Rev. Ray Harrison. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
