John T. Fricke, 83, passed on to be with his Valentine, Charlene, on Monday, February 10, 2014 at St. John's Hospital.
John was born March 27, 1930 in Springfield, the son of Carl and Ora (Lewis) Fricke. He married Charlene E. Dennison on June 16, 1950. She preceded him in death on June 16, 2013, and also preceding him was a sister, Juanita Skilbeck.
John is survived by sons, Michael , David and Steven ; his grandchildren, great-grandchildren,and several nieces and nephews including Russell.
John retired from CILCO after more than 30 years of service.
Private family services will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
