A member of Maplewood Reformed Church and the Holland Lions Club, he and his wife owned and operated the Maplewood Hardware Store for many years.
Preceding him in death were his infant son and daughter; and his wife in 1996.
He is survived by his children, William and Carol Bos, Wanda and Ted Van Iwaarden and Allen and Lynn Bos of Holland, and Don and Jakie Bos of Hamilton; 15 grandchildren; 23 great grand children; one great-great grandchild; sisters Dena Hertz, Helene Loyer and Ann Romeyn of Holland, and Ruth and Norman Smith of Grand Rapids; brother, Alvin and Alice Bos of Holland; brother-in-law, William and Elsie Bushee of Arizona; and sister-in-law, Wilma and Hugh Harper of Holland.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at the Maplewood Reformed Church, 133 E. 34th St., Holland, with Rev. Cornelius H. Van Kampen officiating. Burial will be at Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Notier Ver Lee Langland Funeral Chapel, 315 E. 16th St., Holland.
