Born May 11, 1932 in Hancock, she was the daughter of the late Russell Hull and Edna Divelbliss Hull.
She was a member of Berkeley Springs Church of the Nazarene. For more than 30 years, she had served as a Sunday school teacher and as the church treasurer.
She had worked as a seamstress with Jacobs Brothers Sewing Factory in Hancock.
She liked sewing, the beach and traveling.
Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Robert Barney, at home; one son, Darren Barney, Berkeley Springs; two brothers, Paul Hull, Berkeley Springs and Elwood Hull, Hagerstown, Md.; two grandchildren, Victoria Keefer and James Stotler, both of Berkeley Springs and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services was conducted on Friday, February 14 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Berkeley Springs with Rev. Rodney C. Truax officiating. Interment was in Rehobeth United Methodist Church Cemetery, Fulton County, Pa.
