Mrs. Ellen Farrell Brady, 92, widow of Andrew Brady, died Monday morning, January 4, 1943 in her home, 39 Chapel Street, after a brief illness.
Born in Tipperary, Ireland, June 9, 1851. Mrs. Brady came to this country at the age of six months with her parents, James and Margaret Madden Farrell, who settled in the town of Victor. She had been a resident of Canandaigua for 68 years. Mr Brady died in 1909. Always active, she enjoyed daily automobile drive with members of her family until taken ill less than two weeks before her death.
Survivors are four sons, Colonal Francis A. Brady, USA, retired, of Phoenix, Ariz., Dr. William Brady, Beverly Hills, Calif., who writes a health column for a syndicate of daily newspapers; Andrew P. Brady and Walter S. Brady of this city; five grandchildren, Francis and Ambrose Brady, this city; Mrs. William Coomber and Mrs. William Ader of Beverly Hills, Calf., and Colonel Brookner Brady, USA.
Funeral services were held, Thursday morning, from St. Mary's Church and interment was made in Calvary Cemetery.
