MRS. LOCKWOOD W. DOTY
Mrs. Lockwood W. Doty of Geneseo died Sunday, March 28, after a long illness.
Mrs. Doty, the former Flora Cady Weaver, had lived most of her life in Lockport, where ahe was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. For several years she had made her home in Geneseo, the birthplace of her late husband, Maj. Lockwood W. Doty, where she died. She was well known for her kindness to those in trouble and need.
Surviving are her sister, Mrs. Egbert D. Corson of Lockport; a son, Lockwood R. Doty of Geneseo; two granddaughters, Louise Brayer Doty and Jennifer West Doty; a nephew, Peter Corson, of Lockport; and three nieces, Mrs. Burton A. MacLean of New Haven, Conn., Mrs. William J. Rothfuss of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Mrs. Charles H. Bell of Lockport.
A memorial service was held at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Geneseo, Tuesday, afternoon, Mar. 30, with burial in Temple Hill Cemetery.
