MOUNT VERNON — Katie Diane Fisher, 5-year-old daughter of Jason and Jannea Fisher of Mt. Vernon, Ind., died Thursday, November 24, 2005, at her home.
Katie was born May 23, 2000, in Evansville, Ind. Katie loved Disney and Princesses and especially Cinderella. Katie was preceded in death by grandparents, Jack Griffin, Marjorie Wentzel and Patricia Fisher and a great-grandmother, Vivian Rose.
Katie is survived by her parents, her big sister, Jody, her grandparents, Elaine Griffin, Beverly and Stan Pickerill and Robert and Roberta Fisher, all of Mt. Vernon; great-grandparents, Leonard and Lola Wentzel of Mt. Vernon; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2005, at Austin Funeral Home, 1330 East Fourth Street in Mount Vernon, Ind., with Rev. Kenneth Steckler officiating.Burial will be in the Bellefontaine Cemetery in Mt. Vernon.
Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2005 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
