Frances Susan, wife of Isaac Sanders Mahan, of this city, died at the residence of her brother, Charles D. Luce, near Osseo, Hillsdale County, Michigan, on October 9, 1869, aged 34 years.
She had been suffering with consumption, and was on a health tour with her husband, when death called her from earth.
Her remains were brought home for interment, which was done on last Sabbath, in the presence of a large concourse of people. Rev. Mr. Love, Pastor of the Presbyterian Church officiated.
