John Barney was born April 2, 1703 at Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts to Joseph and Constance Davis Barney. He married Hannah Clark May 18, 1729 in Swansea, Bristol County, Massachusetts and their children were: John Jr., Aaron (#30547726), Hannah and Ester. John was in the real estate business. After the death of his wife Hannah in 1746, he married Kesiah Carpenter June 21, 1747 at Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. The family moved to Guilford, Windham County, Vermont later on and that is where John died about 1757. It is presumed he's buried in that area.
