Virgie Lee Stidham was born 24 Feb, 1932 in Cullman County, Alabama to William Searcy Stidham and Vergie Gladys Cornelius. She is the granddaughter of George Marion Stidham and Margaret Ann Salena Holcombe, William Herbert Cornelius and Nancy Ophelia Brown.

KICKER, MRS. VERGIE LEE (STIDHAM), age 70, of Hanceville, AL, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2003 in Cullman, AL. She was born February 24, 1932 in Cullman County to the late William Searcy and Gladys (Cornelius) Stidham.
Mrs. Kicker is survived by her husband, Eldred Kicker of Hanceville; sons, Darrell Kicker of Riverside, CA, Dwayne (Desiree) Kicker of Las Vegas, NV and Durwin (Kim) Kicker of Marshfield, MO; daughters, Donna Copeland of Houston, TX and Deidre Wilson of Grand Ridge, FL; eight grandchildren; sisters, Fay (Mike) Clark of Holly Pond and Glenda (Paul) Jimerson of Holly Pond.
Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brothers, Delton and Wendell Stidham.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 17, 2003 at Hanceville Funeral Home from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at Hanceville First Baptist Church with Dr. David McGowin officiating. She will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow in Hopewell Cemetery. Hanceville Funeral Home Directing (256) 352-3130.
