Pat was born May 11, 1939, in Benkelman, Neb. The family lived in several areas of the country while her father followed construction projects before eventually settling in Othello in the mid 1950's. She graduated from Othello High School in 1957. She was married to Angelo Mandelas on April 19, 1958, in Othello. They moved to Moses Lake in 1963 where they have lived since. She was active over the years as the bookkeeper for Angelo's business and had also worked as a paraprofessional for the Moses Lake School District, retiring in 2007, after 10 years of service.

Her faith was a constant in her life as she was a very active member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and had volunteered her time for many projects and responsibilities.

Pat's family and friends were loved and cherished and she especially loved time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed camping, fishing, music, popcorn, movies and matching any occasion with a song.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Angelo Mandelas, Moses Lake; three children, The Reverend Deacon Michael Mandelas and wife, Kelly of Federal Way, Donald Mandelas of Moses Lake, Nikie Ann Smith and husband, William of Moses Lake; sister, Donna Whitehall, Omak; sister-in-law, Marie Woodward, Moses Lake; eleven grandchildren, Jennifer, Kurtis, Eric, Mathew and wife Acashia, Sarah, Jacob and wife, Lauren, Ethan, Laura, Ashley, Claire and Zachary; six great-grandchildren, Mariah, Audreyah, Barry, Angelo, Emily and Hunter.

Her parents, Harvey and Lula Kathleen (Ellis) Rutherford and a brother, Kenneth Woodward preceded her in death.
