Following graduation from High School, Rick attended college and became a surveyor for the BIA, but the greatest event of his life is when he married Lorraine Antoine. All of Rick's friends and family knew how much he loved playing pool, dancing, music and working on cars.
Predeceased by both of his parents, his beloved wife: Lorraine, his son: Anthony "Beau" Tonasket and his brother William Alex "Bill" Tonasket, Rick's legacy lives on through his two sons: Alex "Bubbah" Tonasket (Holly) and Randolph "Baby" Tonasket; grandchildren: Mikala, Morning Star, Jacob, Spirit, Shaylee, Ashlynn, Kaylee, Philip, Cheyenne and Shenoah; brothers: Joseph Anthony "JR/Tony" Tonasket (Marie), Robert L. Tonasket (Linda), L. "Frenchie" Tonasket (Trudi), David M. Tonasket and Randy Tonasket (Alicia); sisters: Lucille Tonasket (James), Anita Tonasket, Patricia Hix (Ron), Martina Kempf (Jay), Marilyn Tonasket (Jim), Sherry Johnson (Chuck) and Karen Hoffman (Fred) and many – many nephews and cousins.
Rick's dressing took place at 1:00pm, on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Strate Funeral Home in Grand Coulee, WA. A public Rosary and Wake was 7:00pm, Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Keller Community Center in Keller, Washington, with Funeral Mass at 10:00am, Monday, December 2, 2013.
Burial followed at the San Poil/Kuehne Road Cemetery in Keller, Washington.
