Dear husband of the late Beatrice; loving father of Linda and The Reverend Paul Wood, Paul and Jane Whisnant and Ed and Donna Whisnant; proud grandfather of six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Sadly missed by many relatives and friends. Mr. Whisnant was self employed Contractor and a 3rd Degree Mason. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, October 27, 2009 10:30 a.m. at the RIVERSIDE CHAPEL, Simposon-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Interment Christian Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Waterford H.O.G.S, Toys for Tots.
