Mr. Adams died June 1, 1983 in Memphis, Tenn., at the age of 77.
The son of the late Edward T. and Rebecca Noble Adams, he was born Jan. 13, 1906 at Hayti.
He was a buyer and clerk at Kohn's Department Store in Hayti where he had worked for 50 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Hayti.
Mr. Adams is survived by two sisters, Wilma Cecil of Florrisant and Hermenna Alsup of Caruthersville.
Pallbearers were Richard Kohn Jessie Hall, Patrick Clark, J.B. Light, Wesley Cole and Jacob Van Dyke. Honorary pallbearers were W.W. "Burley" Chism, Fred Chaffin, Byron Tinsley and Austin Davidson.
