Cyril C. Donovan, 84, of Minneapolis, passed away at his home there, Sunday, August 21, 1983.
He was married to the former Veronica Adams of New Richland, who preceded him in death. A son, Michael, also preceded him.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Patricia) Shea of Milwaukee, Wis.; two sons, Thomas of Honolulu, Hawaii and Daniel of Minneapolis; a daughter-in-law Mrs.Michael (Wanda) Donovan of Columbus, Ga.; three sisters; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial was at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug 24 at Holy Name Catholic Church, 3637-11th Ave. So., Minneapolis. Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Cyril served his country in World War I. He was a disabled veteran, and was a faithful creator of hand-made poppies.
