Aaron C. Mitchell

Aaron C. Mitchell, 72, died Oct. 26 at his residence. Born Sept. 27, 1916 in North Carolina, he lived in Chula Vista 30 years.

He was a barber in the Navy for 21 years.

Survivors include his wife Vergie M., son Jerry D. of Chula Vista, daughter Jean M. Reynolds of Montevideo, Minn., brothers Gettie W. of Michigan and Hugh of Montana, sisters Velva Graham of North Carolina and Rilma Wilson of Virginia, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services are 9:30 a.m. Monday at Little Chapel of the Roses, with interment at Glen Abbey Memorial park. Arrangements are by Glen Abbey Mortuary.
