Mrs. Herman Brown(sic) died this morning at 7:30 at the family home at Fifteenth and Washington streets, death being due to apoplexy. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon with services at the St. John Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Forest View Cemetery.(sic)
Mrs. Brown was sixty-one years old and has always made her home in this city where she is well known. She is survived by four children, Mrs. Edward Althien, Mrs. Fred Griep, Mrs. Walter Salzman, all of this city and one son, Emil of Chicago who will arrive today. One sister, Mrs. Charles Trost of Kewaunee and four grandchildren also survive.
