Franklin News-Herald, Thursday, Jan 9 1969:
Mrs. Agnes J. Kirkpatrick, 80, of Polk RD 2, died at 4:30 pm Wednesday in Franklin Hospital, where she was admitted Monday. She lived several years at 1329 Chestnut Street. She was born in Franklin May 10, 1888, daughter of Thomas and Ella Vincent Hooper.

On Oct. 22, 1914, in Franklin, she married Clair E. Kirkpatrick, who died Oct. 20, 1966. After his death, she moved to Polk to live with her son, William H. Kirkpatrick. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, and its Loyal Sunday School Class.

Surviving are a son, William H. Kirkpatrick; daughter Neta (Smith) King of Franklin RD 1; and two grandchildren, Zoe Ann and Amanda Sue King. Deceased are a son, Clair Kirkpatrick; and a brother, William C. Hooper.

Services will be at 1 pm Saturday at Burger Funeral Home with Rev. H. L. Knappenberger, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Sandy Cemetery, Polk.
