The Tribune, 1923-5-28 Michael Boratko of 1286 Maryland Avenue, aged 35, was killed at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon while at work in the Ideal Coal Company mine, Ash Street, when caught under a fall of roof. He was born September 12, 1884, in Slovakia and is survived by his widow, Mrs. Susan Dusik-Boratko,daughter of Martin and Susannah Simko-Dusik, and four children—Susan, John, Michael, Jr., and Paul Boratko, all at home. Three brothers survive in Europe. Funeral services were conducted at 1 o'clock this afternoon in St. John's Lutheran Church, Cambria City. Interment was in Grandview Cemetery.
