Benjamin Luther Lee was the son of William Kendall and Margaret Scott Lee. He was born, February 17, 1862, in Harrison Twp., Grundy County, Missouri. He married Louisa Jane Nasalroad, January 6, 1891, in Urbana, Dallas County, Missouri. Together they raised Ray, Asa, Fred and Charlie Lee. Their son, Joseph Lee, and daughter, Mae Lee, died at about age seven and three, respectively. The Lees were farmers.
