A graduate of Triadelphia High School and Elliot Business School, Mr. Bell managed American Standard Co. in Youngstown, Ohio, for 25 years. He became a partner in Penstan Supply Co. in Erie for seven years, then was the district manager of Sexauer Supply Co. for 10 years, retiring in 1987. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in England for four years. enjoyed golf.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Faris Bell, and a sister, Jane White.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Eloise M. Slevin Bell; a son, David A. Bell of Erie; a daughter, Nancy Larsen Plastow of Utah and her husband, James; three grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret McKee of Clarington, Ohio, and Clara Miller of Marysville, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
Entombment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum.
