Mrs. Bonnie Aline Abbott, age 73, of Alvin, Texas, passed away Monday, March 5, 2001 in Columbia Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, Webster, Texas. Mrs. Abbott was born on July 16, 1927, in Beaumont, Texas, was a former resident of Houston and a resident of Alvin for 21 years. She was owner/operator of Bonnie's Dog Grooming and a member of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Abbott was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Edna Grimes.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, F.W. Abbott, Jr. of Alvin, Texas; daughter and son-in-law Rebecca and Gary Ballou of League City, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, David W. and Judy Abbott of Alvin, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Martha Jean and Joseph Fay of Beaumont, Texas; sister-in-law, Evelyn Enderley of Beaumont, Texas; grandson, Corey Abbott of Alvin, Texas; great granddaughters, Ashley Abbott, Erin Abbott and Bailey Abbott, all of Alvin, Texas, and several other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held from 4 pm until 8 pm, Wednesday, March 7, 2001, in the Froberg Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services were held at 2 pm, Thursday, March 8, 2001 in the Froberg Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.Gene Glore officiating. Interment followed in the City of Alvin Oak Park Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Froberg Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Corey Abbott, Richard Hendricks, Gary Ballou, Joseph Fay, David Tidwell and Jerry Geater.
