Charles A. Olson, Veteran East Side Shoe Man, Dies
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at Lakewood chapel for Charles A. Olson, pioneer shoe dealer in East Minneapolis, who died Thursday at his home, 1519 Adams street, northeast. Mr. Olson has conducted a shoe business for 30 years at 421 East Hennepin avenue. He was born June 19, 1859 in Sweden and came to the United States in 1872. He Is survived by a daughter, Mrs. J. H. Swanson, 619 Eighth street southeast, and two sons, Ewen C. Olson and Elven O. Olson, living at the family residence.
