LINDY A. ALBRICI
April 7, 1923 ~ July 24, 2010

Lindy A. Albrici passed from this life July 24, 2010, from the complications of Alzheimer's disease. He lived the last year of his life at Highgate Senior Living Center where he was cared for by wonderful caregivers, family, and friends.

Lindy lived his entire life in Vancouver, WA, where he was born of Italian immigrants, Angelo and Angela Albrici, on April 7, 1923. He attended Catholic schools in Vancouver and served as an altar boy at St. James Parish.

Lindy spent twenty-five years working for the Vancouver Police Dept. and worked as a building contractor the majority of his life.
Lindy had a wonderful work ethic, in that he was always happy when he could please someone by doing a good job for them.

Lindy is survived by his loving wife of thirty-one years, Katie; his children, Leslie (and Gary) Lentz, Lori Sanchez, Jeff (and Janette) Brummel, Debbie Phares, and Beau Brummel; and his honorary daughter, Sue Wiltsey and family. Lindy, or "Papa", is also survived by numerous grandchildren, Tara (and David) Adams, Jeremiah Sanchez, Beau Schreiber, Taylor Schreiber, Kayla Brummel, Alyssa Adams, and Grace Adams. A special nephew and his family in Milan, Italy, Adalberto Morzenti, also survive Lindy.
His parents; his two brothers, Diletto and Gino; and his sister, Maria, preceded him in death.

The family would like to express their thanks for the exceptional care Lindy received while living at Highgate.

A memorial service is planned for Fri., Aug. 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Salmon Creek United Methodist Church, 12217 NE Hwy 99 with a reception will follow. The service will be held in the Family Ministry Center which Lindy helped build.
