Drucilla GREEVES WHALEY, daughter of Thomas and Nica BREEDEN, was born in Greene County, Indiana, February 5, 1842, and departed this life February 2, 1919, aged seventy-six years, eleven months and twenty-seven days. She was united in marriage to Samuel Wesley WHALEY, April 1859, and to this union five children were born: John Franklin, Robert S., Morton, James T., and Laura A., four of whom still survive, one having preceded her to the other home August 17, 1918. She leaves her husband, four children, seventeen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one brother, R. P. BREEDEN, of Bloomfield, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn their loss.She united with the Methodist church at the age of fifteen, living always a faithful Christian life, being a helpful sympathizer in the joys and sorrows of the community.
