Dolores G. Zehler, 83, of Jacksonville passed away July 12th. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio she came here 14 years ago from Miami, FL and was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church. She is survived by 2 sons, Carl Zehler of Jacksonville, Donald Zehler of Decatur, AL; 1 daughter, Susan Zehler of Jacksonville, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 9 brothers and sisters and her 2 faithful companions, her dogs, Penny and Harry. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5PM Sunday at HardageGiddens Mandarin Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30AM Monday at St. Josephs Historic Church with The Rev. Daniel Cody as celebrant, burial will be Tuesday in Woodlawn Park South in Miami, FL. Those who wish, in lieu of flowers, may make a memorial contribution to Independent Living for the Adult Blind, C/O FCCJ, 101 W. State St. Jacksonville, FL 32202.
