JAMES PHILLIP CRAFT, 95, Route 2, Covington, died this morning in Emmett Memorial Hospital. He was born October 24, 1877, in Craig County, the son of the late Phillip N. and Janetta Arington Craft.

He was a retired farmer.

Mr. Craft is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Frances Bradshaw, Salem, Mrs. Rebecca Bradshaw, Route 4, Covington, Mrs. Mary Humphries, Route 2, Covington; three sons, Percy J. Craft, Route 2, Covington, James Edward Craft, Covington, Arless B. Craft, Hyattsville, Maryland; also 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Arritt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements which are incomplete at this time.

Funeral service for James Phillip Craft, Covington, who died Tuesday, will be Thursday, 3 p.m., at the chapel of Arritt Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Charles Bland and the Rev. C E. Davidson. Interment will be at Craft Cemetery, Craig County, Va.

Active pallbearers will be Eugene Bradshaw, James E. Craft, Jr., Eddie Humphries, Jr., Revis Craft, Gerald Cox, John Craft, with alternates Leo Bradshaw and James Napier. Honorary pallbearers will be selected from friends who attend the service.

The family will receive friends tonight at the funeral home from 7 to 9 o'clock.
