Charles S. Wigginton, a prominent farmer & stock grower of Carroll Co., was born in Trimble Co., KY & is the fourth of a family of eight children born to Mason & Martha (Spilman) Wigginton. Mason Wigginton, a native of KY was born in 1800 & died in 1854. Charles S. Wigginton received his education at the common schools of Trimble Co., and by his hard work & economy now owns 240 acres of fine land lying on the Little Kentucky River, all which is well improved. He married Miss Maria Heath, d/o William & Nancy (Bolan) Heath, of KY. Three children were blessed to this union: William M., Charles S. & Cornelia B. Mrs. Maria Wigginton died Jan. 1, 1882 & in 1885 Mr. Wigginton married Miss Sarah J. Driscal, d/o Jesse & Jincy Driscal. He & his wife are members of the Methodist Episcopal Church South. Mr. Wigginton is a Royal Arch Mason, & a member of the F. & A.M. Politically he is a Democrat.

•Robinson Lodge #250 since 26 Feb 1908; rec'd degrees in Carrollton #134 KY.; dimitted 28 Oct 1888; initiated, passed & raised 1866.

•Burial Greenhill Cemetery 5 Jun 1913. Rev H. Casely conducted services of the home; Sullivan Lodge conducted the Ritual services at the cemetery.
