Funeral Services for Mrs. Agnes Elizabeth Ibach Austin, 94, will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, February 26, 2014 in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S. with Dr. Larry E. Elliott officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery with military honors.

Born September 13, 1919 in Jacksonville, Florida, Mrs. Austin died Sunday, February 23, 2014 in Jacksonville.

She was a retired Underwriter's Assistant from State Farm Insurance Company. She served as a SPAR in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. Mrs. Austin was a member of Hogan Baptist Church; the Order of Eastern Star Orange Park Chapter No. 226; Daughters of the Nile Khem Temple No. 85; Rebekah Assembly of Florida; Florida First Coast Waves National Unit No. 38; and NARFE.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Elysa Austin (Stanley) Earle of Manassas, Virginia; a sister, Mrs. Irma Jean O'Steen; and two brothers, John D. (Aline) Ibach and Herman A. (Louise) Ibach all of Jacksonville; four grandchildren, Edwin T. Austin, Jr., Stephanie E. Gunter, Emily C. Timmons, and Matthew T. Earle; 11 great-grandchildren, 7 nieces and nephews, 13 great-nieces and nephews; and 10 great-great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends, at the funeral home, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday.
