Alton Anderson was called to Rockwood last week by the illness and death of his father, A M Anderson, 51, a former agent for the Southern Railway at Rockwood.
Mr Anderson passed away at his home Thursday, January 25. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church, Rockwood on Saturday, January 27, with burial at Oak Grove.
The deceased is survived by his widow, 3 daughters, another son and 2 brothers, who live in Indiana.

He married Mattie Candis Spurlock 01 Nov 1910 in White County, Tennessee.

According to the 1930 census, He resided with his family at 236 Douglas ave. They did have a radio set in their home. He was the station agent for the railroad.
