Cloyce Fitch, 78, of Norwalk, died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, in Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

He was born July 13, 1935, in Johnson County, Ky., to the late Dennis and Elsie (Ross) Fitch, and came to this area in 1956 from Kentucky. Cloyce was a truck driver for Lake Erie Construction Company for over 40 years and was a former employee of Leon Riley, Inc., Norwalk.

He was a member of Mt. Vernon Lodge 64 F. & A.M., Norwalk, Eagles Aerie 711, and was a social member at Firelands Post 2743 V.F.W., and Post 41 American Legion. Cloyce enjoyed making wine, hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, playing dart ball, and conversations on his front porch and around the campfire.

He is survived by his wife of 53 ½ years, Betty J. (Zuk) Fitch of Norwalk; children, Kevin and Stephanie Fitch of Norwalk, Michelle L. Cleland and Chris Myers of Norwalk, and Robert Guckert of Shelby; grandchildren, William (Jessica) Guckert, Cody Fitch, Heylee Cleland, Christin Fitch, Kyle Fitch, Jayde Cleland, Peyton McCurdy, and Kayla Guckert.

Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at Eagles Club, 151 Cline Street, Norwalk.
