Clifford E. Augsburger, age 85 of 516 S. 8th Street, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, died December 22, 1988 at the Dorchester Nursing Center. The Rev. R. Burke Johnson conducted services Monday at the United Methodist Church. Burial at Bayside Cemetery. The Davis Mortuary handled the arrangements.

The son of Abraham and Mary (Long) Augsburger was born in Sturgeon Bay June 7, 1903 and lived all of his life in Door County.

On January 8, 1924, he married Emma Hafeman.

Mr. Augsburger was a 21 year employee of the City of Sturgeon Bay and was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Odd Fellows.

He is survived by his wife Emma;
along with a daughter LaVerne (Ralph) Blackburn of Chula Vista, California; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
