Nellie Victoria (Pike) Jayne Stowers was the daughter of Aaron and Roxana Wood (Bacon) Pike. Havens Brewster Jayne was her 1st husband. Havens died January 1873. Rev. Charles Nelson Stowers was her 2nd husband. He died March 2, 1896. Rev. Stowers was a minister in the Oneida Conference, Wisconsin Conference and Minnesota Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
