Emilie Margaret Graves, 65, wife of Gustav O. Graves, farmer in Guthrie township, died at her home Monday. Funeral services were held at the home and at the church in Guthrie. Interment was in the Guthrie cemetery.
Deceased was born in Germany on Feb. 6, 1865 and had lived in Guthrie township for the past six years. Survived by her husband, two daughters, and three sons, one sister in Germany and one in St. Angelus, Wash., and one brother in Seattle.
Although the funeral marker says 1866, she is consistently listed with a birth date of 1865 throughout the census data, and her obituary lists her birthdate in 1865.
