Phillip Eugene Anthony, Sr. age 64 of Adams, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at the Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Rev. Ken Gillespie and Rev. Randy Mutter, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Robertson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday from 3:00 - 8:00 PM and Saturday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield. Phillip was born April 10, 1945 in Springfield to the late Phillip Powell and Sally Key Anthony. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Eugene Anthony, Sr. and Mr. & Mrs. James Key; brother, Jimmy Key. He is survived by his son, Phillip Eugene Anthony, II of Goodlettsville; brother, Walter Henry "Snooky" (Mary) Anthony of Clarksville; nephews, James (Tammy) Anthony of Clarksville and Walt (Susan) Anthony also of Clarksville; numerous cousins.
