Nelson Lee Anstine, age 62 of Chase, died on Friday, February 9. He was born October 11, 1940 in Wayne County To Nelson Henry and Chessie (Adkins) Anstine. He worked at Motor Machinery Company in Detroit for many years.
Nelson liked animals, Star Trek and the outdoors. He leaves to cherish his memory children Nelson Lee (Felicia Moore) Anstine, Jr. of Evart and Edward Dalton (Kelly Fullterton) Anstine of Reed City; grandchildren Brian Michael Hartline, Jack Edward Anstine, soon to be welcome Shelby Yvonne Anstine, Jasmine Myall, John Barton, Jr. and Donovan Barton; sister Hope (Ron) Wickentiew of Livonia, and brother Thomas (Nancy) Anstine of Brighton. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 12 at Verdun Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Baldwin. Interment was in Chase Township Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Verdun Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Baldwin.
