Toots was the oldest daughter of Russell Owens Bean and Lydia Sanford. She married (1) Earl Allen Cotton in 1936 and they had one child: Earl Daniel 'Danny'. In 1942 she married (2) Edward Celander, she later married (3) Walter Andrew Kreager, in 1957, after the death of Walter she married (4) Albert Huether, in 1979.

Florence 'Toots' Huether

BAKER - Funeral services for Florence 'Toots' Huether, 85, of Baker, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, at American Lutheran Church in Baker. Burial will be in Bonnievale Cemetery in Baker. Visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 30, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a prayer service held at 7:30 p.m. at Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker. Florence passed away Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005, at Fallon Medical Complex in Baker. Florence 'Toots' Lydia Huether was born Aug. 6, 1920, the daughter of Lydia (Kuhn) and Russell O. Bean. She grew up and attended school in Great Falls. She married Earl Allen Cotton, and to this union, Earl Daniel was born in Yakima, Wash. Toots and Danny moved to eastern Montana, where she met and married Edward Celander. They resided on a ranch south of Baker. She made Baker her home while raising her son Danny. Toots was then married to Walt Kreager and they resided in Baker. After the death of Walt, Toots opened a craft store and baked wedding cakes, which was operated out of her home. She married Albert Huether on March 9, 1979. Toots worked as treasurer for the City of Baker for 14 years, retiring on May 31, 1991. She continued to make Baker her home. Albert and Toots enjoyed traveling with their camper through many states and seeing the sights. Toots was always fond of crafts and sharing them with her family. She especially liked cooking and enjoyed having her family around. Florence is survived by her son, Danny (Sandy) Celander, Watford City, N.D.; a special niece, Kathy (Dale) Newell and their children Dallas and Kelby of Baker; stepbrothers William, Raymond and Robert; a stepsister, Bonnie; nine grandchildren, Chuck, Marcie, Stuart, Kristie, Charity, Brad, Kris, Danielle and Josh; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents, husband, Albert, three brothers and four sisters.
