MRS.FANNY JUSTIN

Mrs. Fanny Justin died Feb. 19, 1929, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walker in Argyle township, Sanilac county, having been in poor health for several months.

Fanny Gardner was born Jan. 24, 1854, at Tilsonburg, Ont., and was married March 13, 1871, to Alonzo Justin in Sanilac county. They were the parents of six children. They came to Gladwin 27 years ago and located on a farm in Grout township, where they lived until they moved to Gladwin about 14 years ago. Since Mr. Justin's death a few years ago, Mrs. Justin continued to make her home here.

Her son, Herbert Justin, died Aug. 6, 1927, and one daughter, Mrs. Isaac Collins in November. Four daughters, Mrs. Hattie Walker of Argyle, Mrs. Minnie Hilliker, Mrs. Fannie Turner and Mrs. Nina Wolfe of Royal Oak; 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. O. Bradley of Gladwin, Mrs. C. M. Bradley of Lansing, and Mrs. Lee Groves, Champion, Alberta, one brother, C. Gardner of Imlay city and a host of friends survive her.

The body was brought to Gladwin for burial. Services were held from her hoe Thursday afternoon, Feb. 21 at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. E. F. Bailey.

Burial took place in Highland cemetery.

The days have come, the days have gone,
Today, we stand alone.
The past were days of peace and son,
Today, death's in our home.
No more, she'll rise, no more she'll greet,
On earth so bright and fair;
And is it ours to see and meet
Our mother over there?
