NAMPA — Services for Mrs. Ella B. Stratton, 48, 1415 Monte Vista Drive, Caldwell, who died suddenly at her home Sunday, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. J. Sydney Carnes, pastor of the Nampa First Christian Church. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Stratton was born Feb. 6, 1923, at Baton Rouge, La. She moved to Kansas as a child and was raised at McPherson. She was married to William H. Stratton at McPherson on Sept. 26, 1947. They moved to Meridian in 1954 and to Nampa in 1960. They moved to Great Bend, Kans., in 1964, returning to Nampa in 1968. They moved to Caldwell about one year ago. She was a member of the McPherson, Kans., First Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, William H. Stratton, Caldwell; a son, Dennis C. Stratton, and a daughter, Julie Marie Stratton, both of Caldwell; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Z.A. Bankston, Wichita, Kans.; a brother, Donald Bankston, with the U.S. Army in Alaska, and a sister, Chrystal Quillen, Wichita, Kans.
