Austin James Huff, the little son of Mrs. Minnie Huff of West King Street, 2 miles west of the village, died at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday morning after a four days' illness with diphtheria, aged 3 years, 3 months and 24 days. The burial will take place on Wednesday, with services at the cemetery at 11 o'clock.

The child was taken ill Friday evening with what appeared to be the croup. Sunday morning physicians pronounced the case diphtheria, and reported the case for quarantine.

Clara, a daughter, aged 6, was taken ill with the disease Sunday, but was reported Tuesday to be in a fair way to recover.

An older daughter, Olive, aged 10, is recovering from what is said to be a light form of the disease.

General sympathy is expressed for Mrs. Huff in her deep affliction.
