Dysie Robertson, 71, a resident of Tacoma since 1954, died on Friday, November 18, 2005. Dysie was born in Greensburg, LA. She was an educator for 36 years with Tacoma Public Schools, a member of Allen AME Church, a volunteer in the Renal Dialysis Center at St. Joseph Hospital, and she served on the Martin Luther King Scholarship Committee.
She is survived by her daughters, Dorothy (Theodis) Johnson and Renee (Reginald) Edge; one son, Donald Robertson; seven grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; three sisters; and one brother.
Visitation to be held on November 25, 2005, 12 Noon~9:00 pm at Mountain Veiw Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 4100 Seilacoom Blvd. SW, Tacoma, Washington 98499
Services will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 26, 2005, at Allen AME Church, 1223 Martin Luther King Jr Way, Tacoma, Washington.
