The marriage of Simon Lecron and Sarah Liday on July 31, 1802 by Jonathan Rauhauser is recorded in the Parochial Register of the Reformed Parish of Hagerstown (now Zion Church).

The birth year of 1773 on the marker in Green Hill Cemetery conflicts with the birth of Adam and Rosina Lyday's daughter Sara of 1785 (christening on Sept 24, 1786). The Simon Lecron family is enumerated in the 1810 Washington county, Maryland census with the oldest female in the family being 16 to 25 years old, which is consistent with a 1785 birth rather than a 1773 birth.

Children of Simon and Sarah Leidy Lecron: Samuel LeCron, married Maria Dillehunt; Sarah LeCron, married Andrew Mitchell; Daniel LeCron, Rebecca LeCron, who married Abraham Row, Catharine LeCron, married John King; Susan LeCron, married Michael Gordon, and Maria LeCron.

Sarah's remains were removed from the LeCron Private Grave yard, South of Leitersburg, Washington County, MD., by Daniel Lecron in 1921. (see Simon LeCron memorial)
