Mrs. Wilhelmina S. {Mina} Uebel, 79 of Frederick, MD., died Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at the Washington County Hospital. She was the wife of Robert G. Uebel, Sr. her husband of 58 years.
Born February 25, 1928 in Kennett Square, PA., she was the daughter of the late Roland and Margaret Muncaster Stabler.
Mrs. Uebel raised and raced Standardbred Horses with her husband for over 40 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Robert Uebel, Jr and wife of Christine of Frederick, and Peggy Metzger and husband Johnny of Libertytown; four grandchildren, Jennifer Ogg and husband Danny, Kevin Uebel and wife Sabrina, Michael Metzger and fiancee Jen Wachter and Matthew Metzger; two great grandchildren, Hailey and Mia Ogg; her brothers, Robert Stabler and wife Ann, and John Stabler and wife Dottie. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, September 28, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Services: Services will be held Saturday, September 29 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5463 Jefferson Pike, Feagaville, MD. Interment in the Church Cemetery.
